Cowan and Sim capture Calder Cup

(Toronto, ON) -- Forwards Easton Cowan (Mount Brydges, ON) and Landon Sim (New Glasgow, NS) captured the AHL's Calder Cup Championship with the Toronto Marlboros in a 4-1 series victory over the Chicago Wolves.

It marks the fourth championship the two have won in recent years with the Marlies and the London Knights of the OHL.

Cowan and Sim captured the 2023-24 and 2024-25 Robertson Cup while members of the OHL Champion Knights. They also captured the 2024-25 Memorial Cup.

Cowan was the Leafs 1st round choice in 2023 and spent the 2025-26 season in the NHL with the NHL club. He scored 11 goals and 19 assists for 29 points in 66 games.

Sim recently signed an NHL contract with the Leafs after spending the 2025-26 American Hockey League season with the Marlies.
