(London, ON) -- Easton Cowan (Mount Brydges, ON) surpassed the London Knights team record with a point in 26 consecutive games on February 24th in Ottawa.
His 26-game streak is the highest in Knights history in the pre-internet records that began in 1997-98.
The 5-11, 174 lbs winger scored a goal late in the second period versus the Ottawa 67's to give the Knights a 3-1 lead. The Knights won the contest 4-3 in a shootout.
Cowan was a first round selection (28th overall) of the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft and has signed an entry-level deal. He was also a member of the 2024 Canadian World Junior team over the holidays.
He has record 29 goals and 48 assists for 77 points in 44 games with the Knights so far this season.
Cowan was the Knights' 2nd round choice (24th overall) in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection out of the Elgin-Middlesex Canucks program.
