Five clients attending CHL Memorial Cup

(Guelph, ON) -- Five M&T clients across three teams will be at the 2026 CHL Memorial Cup Tournament starting May 23, 2026 in Kelowna, BC -- the 106th edition of the tournament.

The Memorial Cup, largely considered to be one of the most difficult trophies to win in hockey, sees teams from the Western Hockey League, the Ontario Hockey League and the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League compete in a round-robin tournament to crown the Canadian Hockey League champion.
WHL Champions Mirco Dufour (Chestermere, AB) and Ryland Gould (Headingly, MN) will be competing with the Everett Silvertips. Dufour was a 1st rd pick of the 'Tips in 2009 and played with Team Canada U17. Gould had 21 goals and 29 assists in 53 games this year after returning from Michigan Tech University. Dufour saw action in 52 games this year scoring 3 goals and adding 14 assists as a 16-year old rookie.
Alonso Gosselin (Verdun, QC) and Colby Train (Saint John, NB) are with the QMJHL Champion Chicoutimi Sagueneens. Defenseman Gosselin played 64 games scoring 7 goals and adding 21 assists. Train appeared in 16 games this year.
The host Kelowna Rockets feature Owen Folstrom (Calgary, AB) who scored 14 goals and added 5 assists in 65 games this season.
