Five M&T clients selected at 2026 NHL Entry Draft

(Buffalo, NY) -- Five clients heard their names called at the 2026 NHL Entry Draft held in Buffalo, NY on June 26 & 27, 2026.

Centreman Maddox Dagenais (Blainville, QC) was selected in the 1st round (16th overall) by the St. Louis Blues. The 6.04 forward scored 30 goals and added 32 assists this past season with the Quebec Remparts of the QMJHL.
Winger Ryan Roobroeck (London, ON) was selected early in the 2nd round (35th overall) by the Chicago Blackhawks. The 6.04 forward recorded 30 goals and 28 assists for the Niagara Ice Dogs of the OHL. He will suit up for the 2027 Memorial Cup host Guelph Storm in September.
Goaltender Juuso Ainasto (Tuusula, Finland) was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 3rd round (85th overall). The 6.04 tender saw action in the league and playoff games this past season with the Jokerit U18s.
Centre Ryan Brown (Aurora, ON) was drafted by the Dallas Stars in the 5th round (155th overall) after a season split between the Sarnia Sting and London Knights. The 5.10 centre scored 22 goals and added 41 assists in 2025-26.
Defenseman Jacob Vandeven (Komoka, ON) was drafted by the Boston Bruins two pick after Brown (157th overall). He skated with the Komoka Kings this season scoring 13 goals and adding 16 assists. He also appeared in 12 OHL games (8 regular season and 4 playoff games) with the London Knights.
Clients earning NHL Development Camp invites include LC JC Lemieux of the Sudbury Wolves (Ottawa Senators), LD Elliot Arnett of the Owen Sound Attack (Tampa Bay Lightning) and RW Cohen Bidgood of the London Knights (Buffalo Sabres).
