Morrison called up by Seattle Kraken

(Seattle, WA) -- Logan Morrison (Guelph, ON) has been called up to the NHL Seattle Kraken from the Coachella Valley Firebirds.

The 6-1, 179 lbs. centreman has posted 27 goals and picked up 30 assists for the Firebirds during the 2025-2026 season, the third of his professional contract.
Morrison was captain of the 2022 J. Ross Robertson Cup winning Bulldogs in leading them to a seven-game series win over the Windsor Spitfires and was the recipient of the Wayne Gretzky "99 Award" for being OHL Playoff Most Valuable Player.
He played the 2022-23 season split between the Bulldogs and Ottawa 67's. In 222 regular season OHL games, Morrison scored 111 goals and picked up 162 assists. He also scored 27 goals and 29 assists in just 34 career playoff games.
Morrison was originally a 1st round selection of the Bulldogs in 2018 out of the Guelph Gryphons U16's.
