(Guelph, ON) -- Nine players from five different countries are on the NHL Central Scouting list for the 2020 NHL Entry Draft in June.
John-Jason Peterka (Munich, GER), an 18-year old forward currently with the EHC Munchen of the Deutsche Elite League, is rated highly for the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.
Peterka starred for the German entry at the recent World Junior Hockey Championships scoring 4 goals and 2 assists in 7 games. He was selected by the OHL Barrie Colts in the 2019 CHL Import Draft last June.
Among the other players rated for the NHL Entry Draft include C Elliot Ekmark (Linkoping, SWE) of Linkoping HC; C Logan Morrison (Guelph, ON) of the OHL Hamilton Bulldogs, G Jesper Vikman (Stockholm, SWE) of AIK IF, D Peetro Seppala (Kuusankoski, FIN) of KooKoo Kouvola and Will Cranley (Keene, ON) of the OHL’s Ottawa 67’s.
The 58th NHL Entry Draft will be held on June 26–27, 2020, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.
