(Riga, Latvia) -- Two M&T clients will be participating in the upcoming IIHF World Hockey Championships in Riga, Latvia later this month.
Forwards Martin Fasko-Rudas (Slovakia) and John-Jason Peterka (Germany) will be two of the few players 20 or under at the event.
Peterka will be playing for Germany and was drafted in the 2nd round by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2020 NHL Draft.
Earlier this year the 5'10", 181 lbs. forward was third in scoring during round robin at the World Junior Championships behind Trevor Zegas of USA and Dylan Cozens of Buffalo.
The native of Munich, Germany had a great finish to his season with Red Bull Munich of the DEL with 12 points in his final 10 games.
Fasko-Rudas will suit up for his native Slovakia after playing three seasons in the Western Hockey League for the Everett Silvertips and Saskatoon Blades.
This past season he made a huge jump with Banska Brystica of the Slovakian Tipsport Liga with 38 points in 48 games and has signed a three-year contract with Liberce of the Czech Xtraliga.
