Pius Suter makes NHL debut


(Chicago, IL) -- Centerman Pius Suter (Wallisellen, SUI) made his National Hockey League debut for the Chicago Blackhawks this week against the defending Stanley Cup Champions, logging over twelve minutes of ice and getting four shots on goal.


Pius previously played for the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League from 2013-2015, winning an OHL championship in 2014.


He has spent the past five seasons with the Zurich Lions of the Swiss National League, winning a championship with the Lions in 2018 and being named the Most Valuable Player of the Swiss National League in 2020 before signing an NHL contract with the Chicago Blackhawks.
