(St. Catharines, ON) -- London Jr. Knights U16 forward Ryan Roobroeck (London, ON) has been selected with the 2nd overall pick in the OHL Priority Selection.
The 6.02, 193 lbs centre grew up playing his entire minor hockey career with the Jr. Knights program and scored 50 goals and 28 assists in 29 Alliance Pavillion League games this year.
Roobroeck also tallied 30 goals and 32 assists in just 23 tournament games and scored 3 goals in 5 games with the GOJHL London Nationals Jr.B. team this season.
He also helped lead the Team Ontario U16 team to the Canada Winter Games Gold Medal in February in PEI scoring 7 goals and 6 assists in just 6 games.
He will be eligible for the 2026 NHL Entry Draft.
