(Helsinki, FIN) -- Three clients have been named to their respective country's teams for the upcoming IIHF Under-18 World Championships.
Defensemen Spencer Gill (Riverview, NB) and Daniil Ustinkov (Wallisellen, SUI) and forward Andreas Straka (Spisska Nova Ves, SVK) have all been selected to represent their countries.
The tournament starts April 25th in Espoo and Vantaa, Finland.
Gill, 17, from the Rimouski Oceanic of the QMJHL is a 6.04, 185lbs. defenseman recorded 12 goals and 34 assists in 65 games this past season. He was the 5th overall selection by the Oceanic in the 2022 QMJHL draft from the Moncton Flyers U15s.
Ustinkov (6.01, 201 lbs) played 36 games with between the GCK Lions in the SL league and Zurich Lions of the Swiss Elite League. He was a 1st round selection of the OHL's London Knights in the 2023 CHL Import Draft.
Straka (6.01, 183 lbs) spent the majority of the past season with the Team Slovakia U18s where he recorded 7 goals and 10 assists across 33 games.
All three are eligible for the 2024 NHL Entry Draft in Las Vegas, NV.
