Trenton Bourque suits up for Canada at the Spengler Cup

(Davos, SUI) - Defenseman Trenton Bourque (Burlington, ON) was named to the Canadian team for the annual Spengler Cub held in Switzerland, December 26 to January 4, 2026.
The 6-2, 214 lbs. blueliner currently plays for JYP of the Liiga in Finland.
Bourque was originally a 3rd round pick of the Sudbury Wolves in 2017 after his U16 season with the Burlington Eagles. He spent five seasons in the OHL between Sudbury and Owen Sound playing 272 games.
He was a 6th round selection (175th overall) in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
He was signed to an AHL agreement after his OHL career finished.
