Aiden O'Donnell signs with OHL Brantford Bulldogs

(Guelph, ON) -- Brantford Bulldogs General Manager Matt Turek announced today the signing of 2024 14th overall selection, forward Aiden O’Donnell (Cole Harbour, NS) to an OHL Scholarship & Development Agreement.



O’Donnell arrives in Brantford from the Steele Subaru U18 program in Dartmouth, NS where the 6’1”, 170lbs left shot forward posted a tremendous 22 goals & 24 assists for 46 points in 31 games to lead his team in scoring as an underage player.


He finished 4th overall in the Nova Scotia U18 Major Hockey League & winning that league’s Rookie of the Year. O’Donnell continued his excellent season in the playoffs where he again led his team with 5 goals & 6 assists for 11 points in 12 games, finishing tied for 5th in the NSU18MHL.


Eligible for the OHL Draft through his father’s (Chris O’Donnell) playing experience with Ottawa & Oshawa in the late 90’s, Aiden has already carved out his own success story. Representing Canada at the Youth Olympic Games in 2024, O’Donnell posted 4 points in 4 games while leading the Canadian side with a plus-8 rating.
